Graham and Kate welcome you to relax at our boutique studio apartment in a tranquil, rural setting in South West France.
Situated just 8 km from the beautiful, Historic town of Nerac, 30 km from the city of Agen, and surrounded by vineyards, Studio la Forge is suitable for 2 adults ( I’m afraid we are unable to accept children or pets) and enjoys a garden courtyard situation with its own terrace and seasonal plunge pool.
The studio has a well equipped kitchenette with both indoor and outdoor dining areas.
There is plenty going on in the surrounding area with traditional weekly markets all year round and Lively night markets in the summer months.
For wine enthusiasts, the property sits within the Buzet appellation and there are plenty of opportunities for vineyard tours, wine and Armagnac tasting.
There are many good local restaurants nearby where you can sample the regional specialities.
The countryside in the area is varied and stunning. Vinyards, orchards, forests, sunflower fields and sleepy villages provide plenty of lovely routes for cyclists and walkers alike. The neighbouring village of Barbaste is the gateway to les Landes forest and you can join the vélo route of the Canal des Deux Mers just 6km away at Feugarolles.
We would also like to welcome walkers on the GR654 EST which passes just 1km from the property.
The fabulous city of Bordeaux is an easy day trip by train from the nearest train station of Port-Sainte-Marie 12km from the studio.
The famous Pole Hippique Lou chibaou Equestrian centre and Albret Golf Course are 6km way
