A few months ago, we started a fundraiser for a local children’s shelter.
The objective is to raise funds to send the children on a summer holiday and contribute to regular leisure activities & days out that their budget currently doesn’t allow for.
With what has been collected so far, the carers will be bringing the children on a week long holiday this summer in “Creuse”, where they have planned activities including a donkey ride and a visit to an animal park.
They have also bought paddle boards, fishing equipment and camping equipment to create a memorable adventure.
As many of you know, we often run limited edition pizzas to help contribute to this initiative. During the busiest months of the year though, our fridges are already bursting with dough, so there is no space for menu additions. But as a way to keep the momentum and continue our contributions, we will be donating 100% of our ice-cream sales for the month of August. (Individual pots ideal for take-away).
