An Douar is located on the seafront in Audierne in Brittany. The location is within 150m of the beautiful main beach. Audierne center is about 1km and an easy 15 minute walk. There are plenty of restaurants close by. An Douar is an aparthotel operated by Goelia. ing. There is a large children's play area within 20m from the residence. The apartments and studios have a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with bath and shower and flat-screen TV. Many apartments have a view of the pool and/or the sea. As well as the local beach there are a lot of attractions in the local area to explore:
1) Audierne - a beautiful town that was one of France's biggest fishing ports. Here you can visit the Aquashow, learn to sail or learn to dive as well as eat well!
2) Pointe-du-Raz - a magnificant peninsula that is one of the most western points of mainland France.
3) Ile de Sein - a small island a short ferry crossing into the Atlantic. (I am guessing it was an original tax exile)
4) Quimper - the pretty capital of the Finisterre province which looks like it should be in Italy or Spain. A good day out.
5) Coastal and Goyen river path - there are lots of opportunities for walking either along the coast from Audierne or up the river valley.
