Last week we bid farewell to an incredible team from the United States Navy after having the privilege of hosting them at Daku Resort for the past three months.

They were in Savusavu on a humanitarian mission, working tirelessly to build a new school block in Nabua Village. Their dedication, hard work, and commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of others have been truly inspiring.

Over the past three months, they became more than just our guests—they became part of the Daku family. Thank you for your kindness, respect, and the many wonderful memories shared with our team. It has been an absolute pleasure getting to know each of you.

We wish you all safe travels as you return home and every success in your future missions. Thank you for your service and for leaving behind a lasting legacy that will benefit the children and people of Nabua Village for many years to come.
