We had the absolute honor of hosting the Youth Talanoa Session on Peacebuilding and Social Cohesion right here at Tukuni Restaurant in Tuvu yesterday!
​A massive Vinaka Vakalevu to the United Nations Development Programme - UNDP for choosing Tukuni Restaurant as your venue partner for this incredibly important initiative. 🙏✨

​It was beautiful to see our space filled with rich dialogue and vibrant collaboration as young leaders, students, and youth representatives came together to discuss their vital role in promoting peaceful dialogue, preventing division, and building a more united, resilient Fiji. 🇫🇯

Over the weekend, we had the absolute privilege of hosting a beautiful Heartfulness for Wellness & Resilience event right here at the FRIEND Headquarters!
​It was a beautiful morning dedicated to relaxation, meditation, and community connection. And what better way to ground that peaceful energy than with a wholesome, Fiji-style vegetarian buffet lunch? 🍛✨
​Our team lovingly prepared a menu celebrating fresh, local flavors to nourish everyone from the inside out:

​🍆 Local favorites like Tavo, Eggplant, and Rourou

Yesterday, we had the distinct pleasure of hosting Ms. Tuya Altangerel, the Resident Representative for the United Nations Development Programme - UNDP UNDP Pacific Office in Fiji for a truly special meal.
​After a tour of our FRIEND headquarters, we gathered at Tukuni to share more than just food—we shared our story.

​Tukuni was born from a desire to preserve and celebrate the authentic, traditional flavors of Fiji. It was an honor to share the "Tale of Tukuni" with Ms. Altangerel, explaining why we are committed to serving only traditional dishes made from fresh, locally sourced ingredients. ​She had the opportunity to taste and experiencing how our "farm-to-table" approach supports local farmers and keeps our culinary heritage alive.
