Due to a decision by the City of Vaasa, this Saturday’s TUNGEVAAG event is being moved from Sandö to Teatro. 💔
We have some sad news to share.
We had planned a big DJ night with TUNGEVAAG at Sandö this Saturday, but the City of Vaasa has now informed us that DJ nights and similar events at Sandö must come to an end.
This means that we can no longer continue the concept we have built at Sandö in the way we had planned.
And honestly, this is really disappointing.
Our goal has always been to create something new, positive and fun for Vaasa. A place where people can come together, enjoy the summer, music and a great atmosphere.
The response from you has been incredible. ❤️
That is why it feels especially sad that just when something new and exciting was starting to take off, it has to come to an end.
We truly believe that a city should make room for new ideas, new experiences and new places for people to enjoy. It is disappointing when something that brings people together and creates positive energy in the city cannot be given the opportunity to grow.
We respect the authorities, and we will make sure Saturday’s TUNGEVAAG event goes ahead at TEATRO as planned.

This is not the ending we wanted — but we are not giving up.
