Located at the top of Saarua, this new restaurant combines relaxed yet high-quality dining, where classic meets modern flavors. Accessible by gondola, with a sauna, two pools, and a heated terrace, we’re open every day.

Autumn has arrived in Ruka and the northern lights season is on 💜 The evenings are getting darker, the air a little cooler and we’re very much looking forward to the season ahead.

And winter isn’t far away either, the slopes open on October 2nd. One month to go ❄️

In September, we’ll be opening earlier on selected dates:

Fri–Sat 4.–5.9. | 12:00–21:00
Fri–Sat 11.–12.9. | 12:00–21:00
Fri–Sat 18.–19.9. | 12:00–21:00
Fri–Sat 25.–26.9. | 12:00–21:00

On other days, BASE opens at 14:00 and the kitchen at 17:00.

This Friday 28.8. we have special opening hours:
Café 10:30–21:00
Kitchen 14:00–21:00
Sauna 12:00–21:00
