Pyhäpiilo - Sacred Hide - is hidden in the midsts of a sacred fell, on the shore of Lake Pyhäjärvi, with beautiful wilderness landscapes. Experience the traditional Finnish smoke sauna or enjoy spa treatments unlike anywhere else in the world! Together in the sauna we make scrubs and masks from the Lappish wild herbs and traditional Finnish remedies, like tar and peat. Between the heats you can cool off by dipping into the ice-covered lake or roll in the snow! Pyhäpiilo is part of a family of companies: Rukan Salonki Chalets & Villa Veskaranta, Wild Food Restaurant Rukan Kuksa and restaurant Kultala. Marjo, is also a qualified Sauna Therapist. She has studied all about the different wild herbs and old Finnish remedies so she knows what is the best sauna treatment for you!

Tervetuloa nauttimaan aidosta suomalaisesta savusaunasta!

Saunavuoron aikana käytössänne on savusaunan ja suihkutilan lisäksi takkatupa ja terassi, josta avautuu näkymä Pyhäjärven yli Pyhävaaralle. Upeaa maisemaa voi ihailla myös aidon savusaunan löylyistä ja saunaelämyksen kruunaa pulahdus järveen laituriltamme.
Saunahoitoja on varattavissa ennakkoon.

Welcome to enjoy an authentic Finnish smoke sauna!
During your sauna session, in addition to the smoke sauna and shower facilities, you will have access to a cozy fireplace lounge and a terrace overlooking Lake Pyhäjärvi and Pyhävaara. You can admire the beautiful scenery also from the warm steam of the authentic smoke sauna, and complete the experience with a refreshing dip in the lake from our pier.
