​The work has officially begun! We are renovating and refreshing our lodge to make sure everything is perfect, cozy, and magical for the upcoming season. ✨

​🐾 History, Tradition, and Happy Paws at Old Pine! 🐾
​Today we had the pleasure of hosting a group of Erasmus students for a day of discovery and nature! It was fantastic to see such enthusiasm as we opened the doors of our Husky Farm to these young international travelers.
​🌲 The Heart of Old Pine
We began the tour by sharing the history of our home. Old Pine is more than just a location; it’s a place where time seems to slow down, surrounded by the forest and built on the warmth of wood and long-standing traditions. Explaining the roots of this place to students from all over Europe reminds us every time how special it is to preserve this corner of history.
​🐺 Life at the Husky Farm
The highlight, of course, was meeting the pack! We gave the students a deep dive into how our farm operates and what it truly means to live in symbiosis with these incredible animals:
​Heritage & Origins: We talked about how our passion began and the vital role Huskies play in northern traditions.
​The Training: We explained our training routines, showing how we prepare the dogs and emphasizing the importance of exercise, discipline, and—most importantly—fun! It’s not just work; it’s a lifestyle built on mutual trust.
​Care & Connection: We spoke about the fundamental bond between the musher and the dog, built on daily respect and deep affection.
​Seeing the curiosity in their eyes as they met the dogs and heard stories about farm life was truly rewarding. Thank you, guys, for your energy—we hope you carry a little bit of the Old Pine magic with you on your journey!
