CAKE PICNIC HELSINKI 2026
TO ALL OUR CAKE FRIENDS: Let’s bring Cake Picnic back to Helsinki this summer!
Let’s have a Cake Picnic at Kaivopuisto on Sunday 23 August, starting from 12:00. Exact address: Puistokatu 4, 00140 Helsinki, Finland.
The rule is simple: NO CAKE NO ENTRY! However, each person that brings a cake can also bring a PLUS ONE! Each person attending can taste everyone’s cake. We love cake in all of its forms - chiffon cakes, upside down cakes, Princess cakes, Russian honey cakes, meringue cakes, jello cakes, trifles, multi-tiered cakes, sponge cakes, butter cakes, and more.
Requirements for the cakes: it needs to be able to cut into at least 8 pieces, or 15cm in diameter. But otherwise, ALL SHAPES AND SIZES ARE WELCOMED 🤗
To reduce the unnecessary usage of single-used items, please bring your personal plates/boxes, forks, drinks, and 1 cake knife to cut your cake 😊 And don’t forget your picnic blanket to sit down and have a chillaxing picnic and enjoy cakes with everyone 🧺
We will start the picnic at 12:00 sharp, so please be on time 👉👈 There will be THREE PRIZES for the best cake 🌟, the prettiest cake 🎂, and the most delicious cake 😋
