Soul food & southern hospitality. Welcoming warmth by the seashore in a unique stone building from the 19th century. That is Sue Ellen in a nutshell.
In 2017, we, the founders of Sue Ellen, travelled to America to explore the local cuisine. “Soul food”, as the cuisine originating from southeastern USA is commonly known, is a diverse mix of the best food cultures around the world. We were extremely impressed and inspired by the soul food at Charleston and other local cities. Consequently, we had a thought - could we somehow bring soul food to Finland?
We sure did. Sue Ellen dining room & bar was established in November 2017.
We believe that it is better to show than tell. Thats why we invite you to be our guest and experience the new and exciting flavours - just like we did back in the US. We warmly welcome you to visit our dining room & bar, whether you are hungry, thirsty or most likely, both. You can find us from Eteläranta 16, Helsinki.
