Brutou Dou

Brutou Dou duo plays adventurously in the middle ground of carefully structured sounds and improvisation. The purpose is to take the listener to unimagined spaces; to create layered structures rather than staying within a specific genre. Various electronic instruments, sequencers and field recordings serve as sound sources.

The duo consists of Katja Lamberg and Sirpa Jokinen. Brutou Dou‘s 2023 debut album Deep Tunnel was released on Artsy Records.

Reijo Pami

In Reijo Pami’s music, everyday objects, environments, battered toys and broken instruments are forced to produce sounds that don‘t quite turn into music. The horror of repeating oneself (or others), the general anti-aesthetics and attitude have made (along with other urgent matters and sheer ineptitude?) artistic activity almost impossible for Pami. After a long hiatus, there have been sporadic signs of revival in the form of gigging in the past year.

"Torikortteleiden kaunis kahvila on käynyt läpi monet omistajat, ja nyt tuoreen remontin jälkeen sen tarjonta on erityisen viehättävää. Myös viiniä tarjoavan kahvilan listalla on herkullisia lämpimiä leipiä ja poikkeuksellisen kauniita Cloud Patisserien leivonnaisia."

El Fant on palannut Helsinkiin! Söin tämän ranskalaishenkisen sienivoileivän, ja jösses kun olikin hyvää.

Uudistuneesta El Fant -ravintolasta on tullut nopeasti suosikki. Edellisessä arviossa ylistin sienileipää, nyt ilahduin saadessani kunnollisen pasta-annoksen. Etenkin tällaista ragu-henkistä kasvisannosta saa ääriharvoin hyvänä ravintoloissa.
