Restaurant Primula carries deep roots into the culture of Helsinki. Located in the formerly infamous Punavuori district of Helsinki, where sailors used to spend their day off! Pekka Väyrynen bought the entire house almost 100 years ago and made it a bakery. Throughout the years Primula has been a bakery, restaurant, cafe and bar. Especially in the 70´s it was one of the best places to go out to drink & dine! After a big renovation, new look and brand new menu, Primula is back as a scandinavian style bistro, serving great lunch and dinner, and an even greater weekend brunch!
