Happy Birthday, Helsinki!

Today, we’re celebrating the beautiful city we get to call home. We are incredibly proud to welcome our guests for breakfast and private events inside Helsinki’s second-oldest stone building—the historic Sundman House.

Commissioned by sea captain Gustaf Wilhelm Sundman and built between 1817 and 1820, this beautiful venue was the very first private commission designed by Carl Ludvig Engel, the legendary architect who shaped Helsinki's iconic empire-style city center.

Generations later, it stands as beautiful as ever, and we are honoured to keep its story alive.

Yesterday we hosted our first-ever wine tasting to a full house, exploring the vibrant world of Rosé alongside wine professional Jussi Soini.

For those ready for the next pour, the Haven Tasting Society is just getting started. We invite you to discover the nuanced world of drink culture through our expert-led sessions in the elegant atmosphere of Hotel Haven.

Our next session, Italian Sparkling & White Wine Tasting, takes place on Friday, June 5th, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
