With a heavy heart we closed the doors for the very last time today.
Looking back at all the laughter, conversations, discussions and continuing feeling of love and joy.. damn how we are gonna miss welcoming you!
We want to take this time to thank every single one of you who supported us over the last 4 years. Guests, friends, family. But above everything our team. It’s hard to believe how much love you all put into our dream restaurant. We are so extremely proud of becoming Restaurant of the Year, rewarded by the , an numerous other occasions that humbled us. It’s been an emotional ride!

We decided to team up with the lovely people from and host another special dinner with them! Have you been dreaming of an intimate dinner out, and want to do this in absolute privacy in your very own gondola? This one is for you!
There will be 2 seatings;
17:00 and 20:00
You will have your own private (heated!) gondola that fits up to 4-6 people.
Be fast, there are only 9 gondolas per seating!

The menu is 80€ pp and is as follows;

Bread & butter
Oyster
Cod & mussel
Onion & mushroom
Beef, summer preserves & spelt
Not your everyday chocolate dessert

Here comes a longer message then we expected to ever have to write..
Oh boy, what a year it has been! The first lockdown followed by the most beautiful summer terrace we’ve had in 4 years, the opening of 2.0, countless games of UNO, picklebacks, knee slides (ok, not too many of those, because the bruises…), support of our amazing guests and friends and oh so many laughs. But also reflecting on the hard times and since March, continuing into the second wave. We are so thankful for the people brave enough to dine out. But that said, only a handful of guests a day seem to be the wrong direction we are in at the moment. It is simply not sustainable to be open for only so little people visiting such a large place that we have.

So we have decided to close down Chapter from Monday on, at least until the end of January. We will take a couple of weeks to give our team the rest they deserve after working so incredibly hard, followed by some hardcore brainstorm sessions on how we can properly adapt to ‘the new normal’. The next ‘chapter’ for Chapter so to say.

Today and tomorrow we are still open normally, so come and give us some love if you are in the neighborhood!

But don’t be sad, we have a few fun projects lined up. The first being NYE! We will team up once again with the amazing people from to give you the safest way to spend the last day of 2020 with max 4-6 people in your own private heated gondola. After a successful Independence Day we now know what to improve to make it more special and exciting for you all!
More info will be announced on Monday, but if you already would like us to reserve you a seat on one of the seatings (17:00 or 20:00) just send us a message :)

p.s. If you are one of the few people that has a reservation for the following weeks we will contact you personally next week!

With the strong advice of not having larger family and friends gatherings we are here to help you having the perfect Christmas Fish Table (or full dinner) without having to waste large amounts of food and time. We created our ultimate fish table, make everything from scratch and all you have to do it put it on a plate and enjoy.

We truly would have loved to serve you within our regular opening hours, probably with more safety than let’s say a private gathering of 100 people that resulted in 700 people quarantined, but our government disagrees. Therefore we now will be open as follow;
Wednesday to Friday from 12:00-22:00 and Saturday from 17:00-22:00.

With 50% of our seats we can guarantee you enough private space, or even a private room!, for you and your dearest friends and family members.

We are extremely grateful to still be operating, and we can’t thank you all enough for your support. We notice you all love to still go out in the weekend. Therefore we are often fully booked, but we highly recommend you to also visit us on Wednesday or Thursday. Same team, same ambiance, same food, same us! Just more often quieter so you have more space, and it will help us a lot too :)

A small 4 years ago we started the starter in our old catering kitchen from scratch, and now this hungry fella keeps us busy every single day!

Pictured here right before we bake it, first 15 minutes at 250 degrees and then another 18 minutes at 210 degrees.
Made with the amazing flours from and we fold in a generous amount of fermented beetroots from our very own biodynamic community farm

We have some non-alcoholics on board and one of them is Cesar Reyna and his drink choice is Easy Rider Bulldog IPA. He likes it because “it tastes like real IPA!”.

This non-alcoholic option was put on an order list also because we are always up to encourage local producers and Easy Rider IPA is made by Gotlands Bryggeri, Swedish craft brewery in the middle of the Baltic Sea.

For us sustainability is so much more than using own grown, organic, biodynamic or foraged ingredients and separating metal and plastic from your general waste: it is a lifestyle. It is a way of living to ensure that our children, grand children and their grand children have a world to live in. A world full of flowers and forests, wild rivers and clean lakes, bees buzzing and birds chirping.

All the cutlery in the house has been gathered from thrift stores, family members and other businesses. Some butter knives and other cutlery we use are from Juho’s grand mother and are older than any of us working in Chapter. Has any of you ever spotted his grandparents initials AGG in them?
