The long winter is over and the first signs of summer are peeking out in träskända park this Sunday (7.5) when the aiju bakery opens its window for the Träskändan kartanon ystävät ry spring event.

This summer Aiju won’t be open regularly so if you have been craving those aiju treats then make sure to be there this Sunday!

Itsenäisyyspäivän juhlintaa lasten kulttuurikeskus Auroran pihalla huomenna Klo 13-16! Come and celebrate Itsenäisyyspäivä with us! Kahvila Aiju will set up shop on Lastenkulttuurikeskus Auroras yard. We will be serving Aijus rice porridge with roasted almonds and a hot and spicy winter soup with chickpeas, roasted squash, caramelized onions, Parmesan and aioli. For your sweet tooth we have korvapuusti, glög and hot chocolate!

This weekend Kahvila Aiju is back in träskända park to kick off the Christmas celebrations together with Träskändan ystävät! There will be loads of Christmassy activities going on around the park.

We will be serving Aiju’s rice porridge with roasted almonds, korvapuusti, homemade rhubarb glögi, and our new sweet pastry from the Aiju bakery.

Fall is here! We are open sat-sun during September. The opening hours are 10-18. We have soup, salads, and bagels on the menu. As always, the kids 🍲soup price is according to the child’s age if an adult buys a soup as well. 🍁 Welcome!

Aiju’s lunch should be enjoyed on our sunny terrace, or the cozy cafe inside. Sandwiches are available from 10 o’clock, and lunch starts at 11. We serve food until we run out! 🥯 🥗 🍲 🍽

I’m having a delicious coffee espresso from Colombia while we prepare for the lunch rush. Franky Hoyos is the coffee we use as our batch brew as well as the espresso for our smooth milky drinks.

Come and get it hot or iced!

On the menu today is a creamy Salmon soup, Nutty Halloumi Salad, housemade filled bagels, and a mozzarella pesto focaccia sandwich.
