Kiwi Coffee Cafe is now at A Place in the Son Nursery at 600 S Kepler in Deland. It is a beautiful 4 acre property and you will love the surroundings. Great coffee and great food we are 5 star ratings and loving the new location. Please come and join us at Friend of the Farmer. The new name represents that we are as much as possible Farm to table. Our meats are from Quincy cattle farm and our salads are picked when you order them.

Hey Kiwi pals! 🇳🇿 So, you're probably aware that we've flown the coop and landed at A Place in the Son (600 S Kepler Rd, DeLand) - and let me tell you, it's a real treat! Imagine sipping coffee or munching on lunch surrounded by flowers... it's like a dream come true! 🌼 Oh, and remember our crazy-delicious ice cream? 🍦 Well, come on down this week and whisper 'Kiwi Coffee' when you order, and it's on the house! 🤫 In October, we're kicking off our very own Farmers Market (just waiting for the farms to get back in action). We have just started an exciting new chapter!

We’re moving to a stunning new home in DeLand at A Place In The Son Nursery — 600 S Kepler Rd. a gorgeous garden center where we’ll be creating a cozy café nestled among flowers, fresh herbs, and veggies grown just for us 🌱✨

Our new café will be called Friend of the Farmer — a name that reflects our love for fresh, local ingredients and our connection to the land. Inspired by my time in New Zealand at Kings Plant Barn, this dream café will offer:
🥗 Farm-fresh meals
☕️ Our signature Kiwi Coffee (still roasted right here!)
🍦 Real fruit ice cream & milkshakes
🍳 Breakfast favorites
🍔 Burgers, fish & chips, sandwiches, and salads
🌻 PLUS a weekend farmers market, classes on beehives, gardening & cooking
🐑 And yes… a petting area with animals for the kids! 🐓🐖
