Excited to be part of the Agro-Processing SME Training Program (TRADE Program), powered by Entrust in partnership with Zemen Bank taking place from May 6–7, 2026.

The program focuses on strengthening SMEs by building real export capability under African Continental Free Trade Area and Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa, helping agro-processing businesses expand beyond local markets and access regional trade opportunities.

I’m grateful for the opportunity to gain practical knowledge, strengthen export readiness, and connect with businesses working toward regional growth and competitiveness.

Looking forward to applying these learnings to grow our presence in African markets and contribute to Ethiopia’s agro-processing sector. ☕️🌍

This training is a great opportunity for SMEs like ours to build real export knowledge under AfCFTA and COMESA, and to better understand how agro-processing businesses can grow beyond local markets into regional trade.

Great experience being part of a panel discussion on SMEs and AfCFTA here in Addis Ababa, as part of a capacity-building workshop.

The conversation gave real, practical insight into both the opportunities and challenges of expanding across African markets. It was especially motivating to see the level of support and commitment toward strengthening the private sector.

Looking forward to putting these learnings into action and growing our role in regional trade.
