With Heavy Heart we need to tell you all that Saturday (tomorrow) will be the last day of The Green Hen for a couple of months.

The main reason for this is the staff shortness in The Hen's Teeth, while doing big volume nights over there, there are more people needed. Salva will join our fantastic Kitchen Team, while you will have to put up with me again on the terrace.

Cris, Esteban & Alex have honestly done an incredible job, but we have been looking for months for the right candidate to join them, without luck.

Even though it's a real emotional moment for me to close The Green Hen, I am excited to be in The Plaza again with Ciccio & all our lovely people @ The Hen 🙌🏽💚

Suro will be in The Green Hen during the day to prepare the Vegan Dishes for The Hen's Teeth, and nobody will miss out on her delicious food 💚💚

We don't know yet what the future will bring for The Green Hen in La Fuente, but we have a couple of months to figure it out, and hopefully move forward with exciting Plant-based foods that continue to show the Costa what Vegan food can really be 😀💚🔥

So that's that.... Thanks to everyone who's been out to see us so far this year, and apologies to those that were excited to check us out over the summer 🙌🏽‼️ Our priorities are in The Hen's Teeth , but we will keep you up to date with what's happening

Also, we will improve the Vegan menu in The Hen's Teeth over the next couple of weeks, so nobody will feel like they're missing out!!

This is our take on a LAHMACUN, a Turkish style "pizza", and of course we made a 100% Plant-based Version of it 🌿💚🔥 with our Vegan spiced Lämb Mince, fresh Zaziki & crunchy Greens 💚 ALWAYS MADE TO ORDER 😀

Today we low-key celebrate our 1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY @ THE GREEN HEN 🎉

It's been an absolute rollercoaster ride, to say the least😜 We are the only 🌿🌿 100% VEGAN 🌿🌿restaurant along the coast for miles, we've taken great risks and went for a concept that we truly believe in.

1 person that stands out is my fiancé, friend, partner in crime and the most incredible person in my life....
Suro has kept her culinary talents hidden for years from the public, and only enriched our family with her passion for food so far, to then jump straight in the deep end with her very 1st role in Hospitality with The Green Hen 💚 None of this would have possible without her support in & around the business🥇

With the summer season coming up, we are determined to grow as creators, doing what we do at the very best level that we can 💯

At the forefront of that is learning from our experiences, taking in your comments, making The Green Hen better & better along this journey... We want TO REACH MORE OF YOU yommake us your go-to place for food, regardless of you being Vegan/ Vegetarian/ Meat-Fanatic and everything else in between. We always thought our food was for everyone to enjoy, and 📈 stats show that 50% of you who visited us over the last year ARE NOT VEGGIES😯
Now as a Vegan myself, I gotta say that makes me so frikkin' happy on so many levels, that we managed to get return-business from those of you that simply love the flavours we bring to the table (literally), even without meat and dairy etc.🙌🏽💚 this is incredible!! Honetsly, I see this as a great achievement as far as the Vegan movement goes‼️ but that's just from my perspective, someone who believes we can all make better choices (also coming from someone who's famous for making incredibly bad choices😂)

On the other hand, from a business perspective, I see true potential in a 100% Plant based eatery being accessible to the wider public. WE ARE NOT A GREEN HEALTH PLACE/ PHARMACY, nor did we ever intend to be, or will intend in the future.
WE ARE HERE TO MAKE FOOD THAT MUST BE DELICIOUS🤤 that is all‼️
