Today we low-key celebrate our 1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY @ THE GREEN HEN 🎉
It's been an absolute rollercoaster ride, to say the least😜 We are the only 🌿🌿 100% VEGAN 🌿🌿restaurant along the coast for miles, we've taken great risks and went for a concept that we truly believe in.
1 person that stands out is my fiancé, friend, partner in crime and the most incredible person in my life....
Suro has kept her culinary talents hidden for years from the public, and only enriched our family with her passion for food so far, to then jump straight in the deep end with her very 1st role in Hospitality with The Green Hen 💚 None of this would have possible without her support in & around the business🥇
With the summer season coming up, we are determined to grow as creators, doing what we do at the very best level that we can 💯
At the forefront of that is learning from our experiences, taking in your comments, making The Green Hen better & better along this journey... We want TO REACH MORE OF YOU yommake us your go-to place for food, regardless of you being Vegan/ Vegetarian/ Meat-Fanatic and everything else in between. We always thought our food was for everyone to enjoy, and 📈 stats show that 50% of you who visited us over the last year ARE NOT VEGGIES😯
Now as a Vegan myself, I gotta say that makes me so frikkin' happy on so many levels, that we managed to get return-business from those of you that simply love the flavours we bring to the table (literally), even without meat and dairy etc.🙌🏽💚 this is incredible!! Honetsly, I see this as a great achievement as far as the Vegan movement goes‼️ but that's just from my perspective, someone who believes we can all make better choices (also coming from someone who's famous for making incredibly bad choices😂)
On the other hand, from a business perspective, I see true potential in a 100% Plant based eatery being accessible to the wider public. WE ARE NOT A GREEN HEALTH PLACE/ PHARMACY, nor did we ever intend to be, or will intend in the future.
WE ARE HERE TO MAKE FOOD THAT MUST BE DELICIOUS🤤 that is all‼️
