🇪🇸 “Hoy haré mucho contenido…”
— yo, llena de buenas intenciones. 😂

Spoiler: el móvil murió, entró muchísimo trabajo y, entre una cosa y otra, desaparecimos de aquí. 🫠📱

Pero oye, si algo nos ha dejado este verano es con ganas de volver a darle caña a esto. Así que nos hemos propuesto volver más fuertes, con más contenido y muchas cosas que enseñaros. 💪🏼🤎

De momento… un iced latte y hacemos como que todo estaba bajo control. 😂☕️

Spoiler: my phone died, we got absolutely slammed with work, and before we knew it, we’d disappeared from here. 🫠📱

But hey, if there’s one thing this summer has left us with, it’s the motivation to get back into it. So we’ve decided to come back stronger, with more content and lots of things to show you. 💪🏼🤎

For now… an iced latte and pretending everything went according to plan. 😂☕️

🇪🇸Esta carrot cake no empezó en el Hawaii. Empezó en nuestra boda. 🤍

Cuando nos casamos, decidimos que nuestra tarta nupcial fuera de carrot cake.

Y gustó. Muchísimo.

Tanto, que años después nuestros amigos seguían hablando de “aquella carrot cake de vuestra boda” 😂

Hasta que un día Jorge, que es bastante de investigar estas cosas, encontró una receta que le recordó muchísimo a aquella tarta.

La preparó para una BBQ que hicimos con amigos y pasó algo que no esperábamos:

TODOS FLIPARON.

Nos dijeron que estaba incluso mejor que la de nuestra boda. Nos hicieron un hype tremendo y empezaron con:

“Tenéis que ponerla en el Hawaii.”

“De verdad, esta tarta tiene que estar en el restaurante.”

Así que les hicimos caso.

Y aquí estamos, 5 años después, haciendo prácticamente la misma receta y viendo cómo sigue triunfando cada día. 🥹

Así que sí… nuestra carrot cake no es simplemente una tarta.

Es nuestra tarta de boda, convertida en un clásico del Hawaii. 🌺🥕🤍

¿La has probado ya?

🇬🇧 This carrot cake didn’t start at Hawaii. It started at our wedding. 🤍

When we got married, we decided that our wedding cake would be carrot cake.

And people loved it. A lot.

So much so that, years later, our friends were still talking about “that carrot cake from your wedding” 😂

Until one day, Jorge, who’s pretty good at investigating these things, found a recipe that reminded him so much of that cake.

He made it for a BBQ we had with friends, and something happened that we really didn’t expect:

EVERYONE LOVED IT.

They told us it was even better than the one from our wedding. They hyped us up like crazy and started saying:

“You have to put it on the Hawaii menu.”

“Seriously, this cake needs to be at the restaurant.”

So… we listened to them.

And here we are, 5 years later, still making pretty much the exact same recipe and watching it become a favourite every single day. 🥹

So yes… our carrot cake isn’t just a cake.

It’s our wedding cake, turned into a Hawaii classic. 🌺🥕🤍
