We ended up having a relatively quiet day yesterday (Monday) but that was a bit of a relief after a wonderfully insane week of mental lunchtimes.
I think that I (Nicola) might have been suffering from a bit of heat exhaustion so was battling some dizziness.
Our days off will include cold showers, getting ready for a new week ahead and staying hydrated.

We're ending our week today with homemade, mushrooms stuffed with garlic breadcrumbs on the special board.

We've got a new kid on the block from the local brewery Cerveza NAO . This craft lager is lovely and light. A real taste of summer.
A lot of you will already have tried the Hoppy lager also from the Nao brewery, which is a bright IPA with hints of passion fruit.

We're going to try our fresh, (100% gluten free, obviously) homemade muffins again.
We stopped making them for a few weeks since they weren't selling and Mike and I couldn't bring ourselves to eat anymore for a while.
Let's see if they sell a bit better now there are a few more people around 🤞🏻

For some reason, as we are well below the 10k followers level, we have been invited for our page to become monetised.
We generally post what we fancy when we fancy and aren't bothered about getting advertising money and posting to a schedule.
I'm not opposed to anyone else doing this but we'd rather stay weird and concentrate on the cooking, rather than having to follow an advertising schedule.

Looks like it's going ro be another scorcher today.
We have cheese and herb quiche on the board today.
**Just a wee note, our busiest time seems to be 1pm - 3pm in our little 100% gluten free bistro but we usually have lots of space outside these hours**

We've got a batch of scotch eggs ready for opening at 11am. We'll be serving our fully gluten free menu all day until closing time at 6pm

Our homemade meatballs have been a firm favourite since the day we opened. A staple on any tapas menu.
Also in our wee 100% gluten free place today, we have cod croquettes and cheese and tomato quiche on our specials board.
