I'm going to be completely honest with you, dear friends and guests.
We have been on the verge of closing.
A series of setbacks, excessive taxes, drastically increasing food costs, and a dramatic drop in tourism in Tenerife during 2026 have made running this restaurant unsustainable. We have been walking on the edge of a knife since the beginning of the year.
It has made me wonder: maybe the time for high-quality, honest food, cooked with joy, is now behind us? Do people still understand what it means to keep a restaurant that uses only the best-quality fresh ingredients, cooking everything in the traditional way, with no pre-made sauces, no powders, and no frozen food whatsoever? Is this sort of effort still appreciated?
The idea of shutting down after six years of continuous improvement and dedication has been painful for me for quite a while now. The shopping at the farmers' market every Saturday, the happy guests telling us it has been the best meal they've ever had, the everlasting struggle to manage the team... I have been preparing myself to take that step and leave it all behind.
But when the time came, and it was imminent, I changed my mind.
We are going to give it another shot.
We all deserve it. You, the team, and me.
We are going to renew our commitment to quality, good, honest, fresh food, and personalized service.
Will you continue to support our way of cooking grounded on tradition and fresh honest food?
