Capturing an entire era on film, David Bailey is credited with some of the most iconic portraiture of the 60's, 70s and 80s, including famous shots of The Rolling Stones, Mick Jagger, and the notorious Kray Twins.

Given that much our work in the studio is fashion photography and portraiture, our super refreshing apple, pear, spinach, and mint juice was named with Mr Bailey in mind. This is, Through David's Lens ....

With a little nod to the early work of Spain’s very own Salvidor Dali, the next of our creative juices is Dali’s Twisted Fruit. Producing an electric colour, the celery and lime combo works a treat, and will bring you back to life after a night – and morning – on the sesh.

Studio 9 is a juice bar and creative space in San Antonio Bay, Ibiza.

At the front of the premises, our juice bar serves a selection of healthy and delicious cold-pressed juices, superfood smoothies, plant-based protein shakes, and specialty coffees and teas.

To the rear is a 60 square metre, acoustically treated photography & broadcast suite, kitted out with top end Aputure and Godox lighting, Manfrotto light stands, tripods, and accessories, along with overhead rails throughout. The studio contains a number of sets, including a living room for interviews, a desk for talking heads, and a variety of Manfrotto Lasolite backgrounds.

Our 60 square metre creative studio has sets built out for interviews and talking heads and is fully equipped with both continuous and flash lighting from Aputure and Godox, along with overhead rails and Manfrotto accessories throughout. We even have an on-site bar offering cold-pressed juices, specialty coffee, smoothies, and plant-based protein shakes.

Since opening the doors to our juice bar last month, the Green Starr has proven to be the most popular drink on our menu by some margin. Named in honour of the best hip hop duo in the history of the genre (the mighty Gang Starr), it has been described as ‘the nicest green smoothie / juice I’ve ever tried’ by practically everyone who has tasted it.

In creating our signature green smoothie, we blend kale, kiwi, banana, avocado and ginger with cold-pressed cucumber and apple juice: so much more than just a taste sensation; the Green Starr is a serious health drink to pick you up following a long session in the gym or at the afters.

Here's a few stills from last months shoot using an Aputure LS 300 Mk II light, alongside two Godox ML60 BI's. Although we also have high-quality flash lighting at our disposal, so many brands are now opting to use continuous lighting for their studio sessions, as it means video content for TicToc, Reels and You Tube can be gotten quickly and efficiently, with no need to change the lighting set up.
