La palabra "jerk" proviene del término charqui, palabra de origen Quechua con connotaciones españolas, para describir las carnes secas. En Jamaica, esta palabra se da a conocer como "jerky" 🍗🇯🇲 // The term "jerk" is said to come from the word charqui, a Spanish term of Quechua origin for je**ed or dried meat, which eventually became the word "jerky" in Jamaica 🍗🇯🇲
