El tapir despistado used to be a small art cafe in the historic center of Olvera, one of the white villages located in the province of Cadiz, in the northwest corner of the Sierra de Cádiz (Hills of Cadiz) near the borders of the provinces of Seville and Malaga. The art cafe has closed his doors in 2022 but El tapir despistado remains a part of the art project at the studio of the artist duo Marleen Pauwels and Kris Heyse in the countryside of El Gastor.
