Max Beach

Metro Grupo is proud to announce the acquisition of Max Beach located at Playa Riviera in the popular coastal holiday resort of Mijas Costa on the Costa del Sol, Spain.

Renowned for its stunning views from everywhere in this venue, there will be some changes in the first year. Expect a culinary delight curated by Metro Grupo Executive Chef Lawrence Otterburn in conjunction with new Head Chef, Geoffrey Sacchi (Nikki Beach).

The exciting news is the creation of Max Fitness, a brand-new gym on the upper level. Picture yourself working out while gazing across the Mediterranean waters. Then enjoy a breakfast downstairs by the pool.

Max Fitness, powered by Reebok Functional, will be run by local Fuengiroleño David Segorbe, World Powerlifting Champion and world record holder in deadweight. David is also a community figure supporting various charitable projects.

Max Beach is a restaurant on the seafront paseo of Mijas Costa’s Playa Riviera. Large terraces with sunbeds and Balinese style beds surround a lovely 25-metre swimming pool. There will also be a concession of sunbeds on the sandy beach in front, served by Max Beach. It is the ideal venue for events of all sizes such as weddings and corporate functions, birthdays and anniversary parties.

Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, there will also be a sushi bar and cocktail bar. Live entertainment will also be featured by the Coast’s favourite artists.

Expected to open in April 2019, the new Max Beach will be the crown in Mijas Costa’s culinary and entertainment lifestyle, with the added bonus of the gym for those who like to look after themselves physically as well and in a relaxing manner.
