Un restaurante con una curiosa historia. Muchos clientes nos preguntan a menudo por qué siendo nosotros españoles le hemos puesto un nombre como CHESTER a nuestro negocio, y nos gusta poder contaroslo:
Cuando vengáis veréis que todas las fotos que decoran nuestras paredes son de fútbol y de los años 40. El protagonista de todas ellas es nuestro padre (bueno, el padre de dos de los socios y el s
uegro de otro de ellos), Sabino Barinaga, que fue jugador de fútbol profesional. Su primer equipo fue el Southampton F.C para un año más tarde fichar por el Real Madrid donde permaneció durante once años. Su llegada desde Inglaterra coincidió con la de los ci*******os “Chesterfield”, y la gente le decía que era “como los Chester”, lo que acabó siendo su mote familiar. Él era CHESTER y esto es un pequeño homenaje a su memoria. Nuestra cocina quiere dar tremenda importancia a la gran calidad de productos que tenemos en España, como las excepcionales carnes de Galicia, el magnífico atún de Barbate o los premiados quesos de cabra Payoya, tratando de darlos a conocer en esta zona. Para darle a nuestra carne el mejor tratamiento tenemos un horno de brasas PIRA que le aporta aromas a carbón de encina manteniendo su jugosidad y textura. Los pescados frescos los cocinamos a baja temperatura para que mantengan sus jugos y se ensalce su sabor. Armonizamos la cocina internacional haciendo por ejemplo nuestro propio roast beef, marinando nuestro salmón o incluso con nuestro tataki de atún, al tiempo que incluímos platos de la cocina más tradicional española como el rabo de toro o las carrilleras en salsa. Intentamos tener una carta para todas las edades, que también incluye hamburguesas de la mejor ternera gallega. En fin, nuestra filosofía es intentar que nuestros clientes se sientan como en casa ofreciéndoles esos productos que quizá en esta zona son desconocidos pero magníficos.

We want to introduce you the new restaurant you can find in the heart of Nueva Andalucía: CHESTER GRILL. It is the ilusión of a family. A restaurant with a curious history. Lot of our customers often ask why being spanish we have given our business such a name. We like to tell you the story:
When you come you see that all the photographs decorating our walls are about football of the 40´s. The main figure in all of them is our father (well, the father of two of us and the father -in-law of another), Sabino Barinaga, who was professional football player. He started playing in Southampton F.C. and a year later he signed for the Real Madrid C.F. where he stayed for 11 years. His arrival from England coincided with the arrival of the ci******es “Chesterfield” and people started saying that he was “like the Chesters” , and finally it became his family nickname. He was CHESTER and this is small tribute to his memory. Our cuisine wants to give great importance to the high quality products we have in Spain, like the gallician meat, the fabulous tuna of Barbate or the awarded Payoya goat cheese, trying to make them become known in this area. To give our meat the best treatment we have a PIRA charcoal oven that gives it all the oak´s flavour keeping it´s juiciness and texture. Our fresh fishes are cooked at low temperature to keep the succulence and extolle the taste. We harmonize the international cuisine with our homemade roast beef, marinating our salmon or with the tuna tataki, with the spanish most traditional oxtail or the pork cheeks in sauce. We try to have a menu for all ages that includes hamburguers of the best gallician veal. Anyway, our philosophy is trying to make our customers feel like at home getting to know that products maybe unknown in this area but splendid.
