A true classic of French cuisine 🥞🇫🇷 Originally prepared by accident in 1898 by a fourteen-year-old assistant waiter at Monte Carlo’s Café de Paris whilst preparing a dessert for the Prince of Wales... 🥞

🐈‍⬛ Galettes became chic in Paris in the late 19th century, particularly in the famous Montmartre club, 𝕃𝕖 𝕄𝕠𝕦𝕝𝕚𝕟 𝕕𝕖 𝕝𝕒 𝔾𝕒𝕝𝕖𝕥𝕥𝕖, where they were made from wheat crushed on site 🇫🇷 Parisians began referring to the dish as a crêpe and today countless sweet and savoury varieties exist ✨

The traditional 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐧𝐞 is served with organic ham, Emmental cheese, organic egg, and mesclun 🐷🧀🥚🌱

🥞 In France, « La crêpe du chat » refers to the first and last crêpe made. Usually imperfect, these crêpes were given to the cat of the house. Hence, the cat’s crêpe! 🐈 You see? Everyone can enjoy a crêpe, come try one of ours! 🇫🇷❤️
