Hello all . After being away from the Urb for a few years my Kosy Korner kitchen menu is now making plans for a grand return!!
I have chosen my best selling items on the KK menu and have revitalised some of my other plates.
The exciting news is I will be back on the Urb from Monday 7th July in the evening then I will be the Final Whistle to feed you!!

Hi All, for reasons beyond our control this Saturday 11th Nov has been cancelled at Zak's Bar!!! 😪😫 Our apologies for the disappointment caused to the many who have bought tickets for this charity event. Refunds to be collected from the bar.

I've been asked by several customers, who say they have never heard Ricky sing before, if he will be anywhere local soon. So if anyone is interested here are some local dates.

Two years ago today, 1st June 2021, Ricky and I opened the doors of Kosy Korner. We had spent the previous exhausting month preparing the bar by painting, extensive cleaning and furnishing the place.
Our 2 year contract ended on 30th April 2023, a day which turned out to be an absolutely traumatic experience for us both, a day we never wish to ever repeat.
At the end of the day we have had a lead weight lifted from our shoulders and we now can carry on our lives in tranquility away from all the shouting and lies.
But what we would like to say is a big thank you to all our valued customers who made our business such a huge success. We made lots of new friends and I tried my hardest to hopefully provide everyone with tasty quality food served by Ricky, who at the end of the day really prefers being a musician not a barman!!lol
Sadly we have decided that we will not be looking for other premises to reopen Kosy Korner, after this awful experience, but we would like say a heartfelt thank you for all the cards, gifts and FB messages of support on our departure.
We wish our lovely customers/friends all the best and thank you once again for the fabulous support you gave us during our time there.

Important Announcement from Kosy Korner.
It is with a heavy heart that we have to inform all our loyal customers that sadly we will be closing our doors at 10pm on Monday 24th April for the last time, AND it's not out of choice may I add.
Our landlady, in her infinite stupidity, wants to increase our rent off the scale because we are doing too well!! We have never missed a month's rent and have paid all the utility bills on time. Surely the old addage is "better the devil you know"?? But no, she sees just how busy we are and wants a bigger slice of the pie!!
Like every other bar owner on urb over the past few months we have experienced huge price increases across the board. Food, beer prices, electricity etc. The profit margins have been squeezed beyond belief. So now the rent demands on us have become impossible.
As a word of caution to anyone who would like to step in and take over KK please think twice before you deal with this dreadful woman. She has been a living nightmare for us for the last 2 years. So much so that we had to have a legal injunction issued against her for harassment and for slander against our good name!!
I also read the email from her solicitor as to why she is not renewing our contract... The bar is dirty, they are always closed and they never have any customers!!!!!! WHAT!! I was fuming!!!
Well let her crack on.
If I can find a suitable premises to set up again I will.
I feel so guilty I'm depriving people of all the steaks, chicken etc that is so loved at KK.
