LAVISH GREEN – gourmet, but plant-based
Over the past four years, Cotton Beach Club has put Figueretas on the map exploring new concepts in food and hospitality at Cotton Lounge Club, Alma Sushi and most recently with the Your Private Supper Club venture.
This season Your Private Supper Club goes green introducing a new concept, LAVISH GREEN – gourmet, but plant-based. A food lab and social trend experiment breaking new ground in a marriage of sustainable thinking and luxury lifestyle.
LAVISH GREEN isn’t your average vegetarian eatery, but a high-end restaurant that places as much care and attention to service, presentation and ambience as any first-rate restaurant.
The DJs are Cotton Beach Club’s acclaimed masters of music, the hostesses and hosts are superlatively skilled and confident; your choice of accompanying wine is carefully selected by our sommeliers.
The menu is gourmet but plant-based, and central to LAVISH GREEN’s philosophy is working with whole-foods, avoiding meat-substitutes that are essentially made up of cheap, ultra-processed protein extracts, starches, and oils.
Produce and ingredients are predominantly organic and locally produced.
LAVISH GREEN IS ABOUT CHANGE
We believe food culture and global patterns are about to change in fundamental ways, moving away from the meat-heavy, oil-drenched and sugar-filled kitchens that have driven obesity levels to record highs across the Western hemisphere and made lifestyle illnesses epidemic.
One of the most powerful steps you can take to improve your health, boost energy levels, and prevent chronic diseases is to move to a plant-based diet.
A plant-based diet can reduce the risk of type 2 diabetes, heart disease, certain types of cancer, and other major illnesses. Many people also report bigger fitness payoffs, more energy, reduced inflammation, and better health outcomes after making the switch.
We also believe plant-based cuisine is one of the most powerful means available to us today in implementing a change toward sustainability in global resources and in fighting the climate crisis.
