Your hosts Catherine & Daniel, and their team offer a genuine home-from-home, in the heart of the picturesque ‘white village’ of Gaucin. We’re open all year long, and provide 6 beautiful guest rooms (with en-suite bathrooms) as well as a gourmet restaurant open for lunch and dinner (Thursday, Friday & Satur

day) as well as Sunday lunch. We have live music regularly. Spectacular views across Andalucia, to the Strait of Gibraltar, and to the mountains of Africa beyond. Sus anfitriones, Catherine, Daniel y su equipo ofrecen en el corazón del pintoresco ‘pueblo blanco’ de Gaucín. un auténtico hogar fuera de casa. Estamos abiertos todo el año, y ofrecemos 6 hermosas habitaciones (con baño), así como un restaurante gourmet y música en vivo en muchas ocasiones. Se cierra un capítulo en la centenaria historia de La Fructuosa ♥️ Catherine y Daniel ceden las riendas tras casi diez años al frente del hotel.

La jubilación ya les había llamado la atención en varias ocasiones, pero durante mucho tiempo fingieron ignorarla. Esta vez, es definitiva: han vendido La Fructuosa Hotel y se retiran con sus perros, gato y gallinas a su molino en La Provenza.

Kathy, la nueva propietaria de La Fructuosa tendrá la oportunidad de presentarse. Sigue trabajando como médica en Alemania hasta finales del próximo año.
Hasta entonces, el equipo de La Fructuosa se asegurará de que los huéspedes continúen disfrutando de la hospitalidad que ha caracterizado al establecimiento durante un siglo ✨

A new chapter is beginning for the century-old La Fructuosa ♥️ Catherine and Daniel are handing over the reins after nearly a decade at the helm of the hotel.

Retirement had already beckoned more than once, but for a long time, they pretended not to hear the call.
This time, it is final: they have sold La Fructuosa and are retiring to their mill in Provence with their dogs, cat, and chickens.

Kathy, the new owner of La Fructuosa will have the opportunity to introduce herself; she is currently still working as a doctor in Germany and will continue to do so until the end of next year.

In the meantime, the La Fructuosa team will ensure that guests continue to enjoy the hospitality that has defined the establishment’s reputation for a century✨
