We want to thank all our costumers that joined us in this culinary adventure and the users of Tripadvisor that have voted us as high as number 1 in the rankings. Other duty's in our home country call us now, so we had to sell the restaurant and go back to Belgium.

A gastronomic oasis in a desert of unremarkable food outlets

It's always a pleasure to eat at Carlos Quinto on the Paseo Maritimo in Feungirola. Located next door to Laredo Hotel and sandwiched between distinctly run-of-the-mill eateries and pubs competing for attention, the quality of the food served here is outstanding for the price and location.

If you're not interested in food delivered by short order cooks and prefer your plates to be prepared by a talented and trained chef who clearly loves his vocation and possesses the skill and flair to deliver consistently reliable high quality dishes then you must visit this compact venue.

Everything is cooked to order with care and attention to detail. Patience is rewarded by the sight of your food emerging from from the kitchen - all presented with pride and style. Whatever you do, don't pass on the paella - Carlos Quinto rightly has earned an enviable reputation for the quality of this dish. But don't stop there! Take a few visits to work your way through the menu, both tapas and full dishes.

We never miss an opportunity to visit this restaurant and enjoyed several visits over the Christmas season including on New Year's Day when we enjoyed the special menu.
