Restaurante en Fuengirola desde 1972, en la misma esquina del casco antiguo.

Cuando abrimos, Fuengirola era un pueblo de pescadores que empezaba a recibir a los primeros turistas. Nos llamábamos El Comedor de Carnes. Han pasado cinco décadas y por aquí siguen entrando las mismas familias, ahora con hijos y nietos.

Lo que no ha cambiado: piezas de carne seleccionada que cortamos en casa y parrilla de carbón encendida cada noche.

Abrimos en 1972, cuando Fuengirola todavía era un pueblo de pescadores y el turismo apenas empezaba. Nos llamábamos El Comedor de Carnes. Por aquí han pasado cinco décadas de veranos, familias que vuelven cada temporada y un montón de restaurantes que ya no están.

Nosotros seguimos con lo mismo de siempre: carne a la parrilla de carbón, en el casco antiguo.

Most people who come to Fuengirola spend the week along the paseo. We are a hundred meters off it, in the old town, on the corner of Calle Moncayo and Calle de la Cruz.

Same corner since 1972. A good part of the people who book with us found the place on an early holiday here and have carried on coming back season after season.

Restaurante asador en Fuengirola donde las piezas de carne entran enteras con su etiqueta de lote y origen.

La maduración concentra el sabor y relaja la fibra. Se nota en el veteado, y sobre todo en la grasa, que abandona el blanco y tira hacia un tono de mantequilla.

Entrecot. Same muscle, no bone, a lighter plate.
