Massaman Fillet Steak Roti Wraps

Seared fillet steak coated in our rich, homemade Massaman curry dressing, wrapped in warm grilled roti with kefir, Thai pickled cucumber, spring onion and fresh coriander.

A table full of Thai flavours in our Thai Picnic Sharing Baskets — one of every starter on our menu, brought together in our signature picnic baskets and created for sharing.
Chicken satay with homemade peanut sauce & Thai cucumber relish, steamed bao filled with Asian slaw & shredded hoisin chicken, Thai king prawn fishcakes, crispy vegetable spring rolls, handmade wontons and coconut king prawns.

September has arrived and the temperatures are finally beginning to ease — although our refreshing jasmine-scented welcome towels are staying for a little while longer.
September is a lovely time for dinner in the garden — cooler evenings, tables set under the lights and plenty of fresh Thai food coming from the kitchen.
Start with our Thai Sharing Picnic, served in our signature basket, followed by homemade curries and Thai dishes made from scratch with fresh herbs, spices and aromatics — many grown right here in the Secret Garden.

At Secret Garden Restaurant in Canillas de Aceituno, every Thai curry starts from scratch. We never use shop-bought curry paste — ours is made in-house from fresh herbs, spices, chillies and aromatics.
And some of those ingredients don’t travel very far at all… kaffir limes, lemongrass and Thai herbs are grown right here in the Secret Garden, picked fresh and used throughout our authentic Thai curries.
From the garden, to the pestle & mortar, to your curry. 🇹🇭🌿

Lovingly grown here in the Secret Garden, our kaffir limes have finally been picked. 🌿💚 They can no longer be admired growing in the garden, but they’re about to be put to very good use in our kitchen… until next year’s harvest.

And the end result… incredibly fresh, vibrant homemade curry pastes, packed with Thai herbs, spices and aromatics — ready to become tonight’s curries. 🌿🌶️🇹🇭

Our new Duck Spring Rolls — crisp and golden, served with a rich Peking duck plum sauce for dipping.

A little nod to the flavours of classic Peking duck pancakes, made Secret Garden style.

Fresh from our garden and straight into the kitchen.
Our Thai basil and holy basil are grown here at Secret Garden, naturally and without w**d killers or chemical sprays — just sunshine, water and plenty of attention.
Thai basil brings its distinctive fragrance to our homemade curries, while freshly picked holy basil is the heart of our Pad Kaprao — giving it that unmistakable flavour you simply can’t get from dried herbs.
Grown here. Picked fresh. Cooked that evening.

A little taste of the Thai kitchen, served beneath the garden lights.

Our Crisp Tide, a chef’s creation — wild king prawn delicately wrapped in a crisp rice-paper shell, with our homemade Bang Bang sauce of lime, chilli, honey and mayonnaise.

Its an edible art form from the ocean.

There’s something about arriving at Secret Garden as the evening begins. A cool jasmine-scented hand towel on arrival, the first lights glowing through the leaves, and the gentle scent of fresh Thai herbs and spices drifting through the garden.
Then the candles are lit and the garden settles into the evening and dinner begins in a little hidden corner of Canillas de Aceituno.
Open from 7pm. Closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
