The summer holidays are over, and we know that many of you are already starting to organise your Christmas and New Year breaks. As we’ve had quite a few enquiries, we wanted to let you know about our plans for this year.

For the first time ever, we will be closed over Christmas and New Year, from 23rd December, reopening on 8th January.

We’re very sorry to those of you who were hoping to spend some of the festive season with us, but this year we have decided to dedicate this special time to our own family, and this Christmas will be particularly special for us, as we very much hope to have the pleasure of spending it with our first grandson.” ❤️. ❤️👶🎄

After so many years of celebrating Christmas and New Year with our wonderful customers, we feel that, just this once, it’s important for us to take this time to be together as a family.

We hope you can understand, and we thank you all, as always, for your incredible support and understanding.

Las vacaciones de verano ya han terminado y sabemos que muchos de vosotros ya estáis empezando a organizar vuestras vacaciones de Navidad y Año Nuevo. Como hemos recibido bastantes consultas, queríamos informaros de nuestros planes para este año.

Por primera vez, estaremos cerrados durante Navidad y Año Nuevo, desde el 23 de diciembre, y volveremos a abrir el 8 de enero.

Sentimos mucho no poder estar con aquellos que esperabais pasar parte de estas fiestas con nosotros, pero este año hemos decidido dedicar estos días tan especiales a nuestra propia familia. Esta Navidad será especialmente importante para nosotros, ya que esperamos con mucha ilusión tener el placer de pasarla con nuestro primer nieto. ❤️👶🎄

Después de tantos años celebrando la Navidad y el Año Nuevo con nuestros maravillosos clientes, sentimos que, por una vez, es importante para nosotros dedicar este tiempo a estar juntos en familia.

We are looking for a friendly and reliable person to join our team in our busy family-run restaurant.

5–6 hours per day in the evenings
5 days per week
Hours can be negotiated to suit the right person.

Experience is preferred, but a positive attitude, reliability and being comfortable working as part of a team are most important. But English speaking is imperative.

Hi my dear friends and guests,

With the summer season in full swing, we kindly recommend reserving your table before visiting us.

Our restaurant is reached via many steps, and we’d hate for you to make the journey only to find we’re fully booked. Last night alone, we sadly had to turn away over 50 guests.

Please book in advance whenever possible to avoid disappointment. We look forward to welcoming you! ❤️

Con la temporada de verano en pleno auge, les recomendamos reservar su mesa antes de venir.

Nuestro restaurante se encuentra tras bajar muchos escalones, y nos daría mucha pena que hicieran el esfuerzo para descubrir que no tenemos mesas disponibles. Solo anoche, lamentablemente, tuvimos que decir que no a más de 50 personas por estar completos.

Para evitar decepciones, les rogamos que reserven con antelación siempre que sea posible.

Hi all, our summer break is coming up so the last day we will be open before our holidays is Saturday the 6th of June, closed from Sunday the 7th and reopening at the beginning of July.

Update: The electricity is now back on which is fantastic news for the village but we will remain closed today as the staff have already been sent home and we now don’t have time for the preparation to be able to open tonight. Many apologies to all.

I’m very sorry but we have been forced to close today as there is no electricity in half of the village. Many apologies but it is out of our hands. Hopefully they will have the problems solved before too long.
