There are at least 7 great Belgium taverns in Benidorm but to me Las Jarras is the very best.
I love the look of this tavern,its got a very cosy interior, a lovely main room complete with a solid wood serving bar, great decor and furnishings including all manner of beer ephemera adorning the walls, the beer advertising enamels are just so cool,theres also plenty of seating options spread throughout this tavern both inside and outside in their cool looking beer garden.
We were here on a Saturday afternoon, this tavern was busy with a great atmosphere, we luckily managed to get a table outside as temperatures were hitting the 30 degree plus mark,a very pleasant member of staff served us a beer each,we opted to have that most Belgium of beers namely bottles of Jupiler beer each,these bottles were served in excellent condition being iced cold and accompanied with a big bowl of bar snacks ,we just chilled out and took in the great tavern we were in.
Jupiler beer is a great beer ,I know it's a commercial beer but on a hot day it's such a light,hoppy and unpretentious lager style beer, totally refreshing.
We really enjoyed our beers in here and the great vibe so much so that we ended up staying for another beer each before we moved on.
Las Jarras is easy to locate along Avenida Madrid.
A great tavern well worth checking out if your in the area.
