Scotch wh**ky is more than malt, water and oak. 🥃🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

The history of Scotch wh**ky was shaped in the Scottish Highlands, where rugged landscapes, rising taxes and centuries of illicit distilling and wh**ky smuggling became part of its story.

Remote glens and hidden valleys offered the perfect setting for secret stills, allowing distillers to produce wh**ky away from the eyes of excise officers.

That began to change with the Excise Act of 1823, a turning point in Scotch wh**ky history that encouraged licensed distilling and helped lay the foundations for the Scotch wh**ky industry we know today.

🎻 What do w**e and music have in common? More than you might think.

The name Sei Solo was not born in the vineyard, but in one of the most important works of classical music: Sei Solo a Violino senza Basso accompagnato, Johann Sebastian Bach’s celebrated collection of sonatas and partitas for solo violin.

Its creator, Javier Zaccagnini, found in that music the very same values he sought in his w**es: balance, harmony and emotion.

It is no coincidence that this project, born in Ribera del Duero, has become a reference for those who value finesse, precision and elegance over sheer power.

Even today, Bach’s original calligraphy remains present on every bottle of Sei Solo, turning each label into a small tribute to the music that inspired the project.

Because behind every great w**e there is always more than just a label. Sometimes there is a landscape. Sometimes a story. And sometimes, even a piece of music.

¿Cuál es la diferencia entre un vino natural y un vino orgánico?

Aunque muchas personas utilizan los términos vino natural y vino orgánico como si fueran lo mismo, en realidad no significan lo mismo.

Un vino orgánico se define principalmente por la forma en la que se cultivan las uvas, evitando el uso de pesticidas, herbicidas y productos químicos sintéticos en el viñedo.

Un vino natural va un paso más allá. Además de cuidar cómo se cultiva la uva, también busca intervenir lo menos posible durante todo el proceso de elaboración, desde el viñedo hasta la botella.

La trazabilidad del vino natural acompaña al vino durante todo su recorrido: el cultivo, la vendimia, la fermentación y el embotellado, siempre con la intención de respetar al máximo la expresión de la uva y del lugar del que procede.

En pocas palabras:

🍇 El vino orgánico habla de cómo se cultiva la uva.
🍷 El vino natural habla de cómo se cultiva la uva y también de cómo se elabora el vino.

Y no, uno no es necesariamente mejor que el otro ni más saludable por definición. Son simplemente dos formas diferentes de entender y elaborar el vino.

Por eso, aunque todo vino natural suele ser orgánico o biodinámico, no todo vino orgánico es necesariamente un vino natural.

El secreto mejor guardado del Bierzo 🍷✨

¿Te gusta la elegancia de la Pinot Noir pero buscas algo con alma local? Entonces tienes que hablar de la Mencía.

No son la misma uva, pero comparten ese “vibe✨” que enamora: son vinos frescos, ligeros, con una acidez vibrante y esa delicadeza que huye de los tintos pesados. Es, por así decirlo, la respuesta del noroeste español a la finura borgoñona.
