Turns out you can run a restaurant, launch a book and a Bazar during Primavera Sound and still survive!!

We were reminded, once again, that Bar Brutal’s history is made everyday by the people. Friends, winemakers, incredible artists, food and wine enthusiasts, all ending up in this cave in the middle
of the chaos, to share, party and enjoy the beauty of life!

Thank you to everyone who passed by @barsuperbarcelona BAR SUPER and Bazar Brutal Barcelona to celebrate both launches with us and the ones who couldn’t make it but were with us
in spirit. To everyone who’s been part of this story, near or far. To the Apartamento crew for making this exist and their tremendous work and patience. To the old guard and the newcomers!!

Bar Brutal has always been about the people that
walk through the door. The book tries to capture
some of that: 320 pages of what happened here, who passed through, what was poured, eaten and said. LOVE YA ALL!!

GOOD THINGS COME IN PAIR!
On June 4th Bar Brutal: A Cookbook of Revelations arrives at ; Bar Brutal’s new permanent address on C/Princesa 14, opening its doors for the first time: a curated shop and meeting point, filled with things we have collected, loved, and couldn’t keep for ourselves!!

The book and the Bazar come from the same place, the same impulse to take everything Bar Brutal has built over 13 years and give it a shape beyond the restaurant.

Oooops we did it again!
Some things just get better the second time around.
We came back to Tbilisi not knowing if lightning
could strike twice, and it struck harder.

What started as a dream collab with .hotel and grew into something even bolder, bigger and wilder this year, with
our long-time friends and .bar joining the party. Together, we celebrated food in its best forms and flavours.

Thanks to the generosity and talent of , and , the music
said everything words can’t, and the dancing couldn’t stop. While 2000 people were losing their minds on
the dance floor drinking natural wine, we got
reminded why we do this.

The fantastic parties were followed by an epic few days discovering western Georgia, understanding the history, the soils, the grapes and the geopolitics and where we received a human lesson of inspiring hospitality.

All the winemakers John , Nino, Archil and their amazing family , Ilo ,
Iago , Ramaz .ramaz,
Aidan & Elene , Levan , Natia , .wine and welcomed us their into homes, opened countless bottles in their wineries and cellars with a generosity that still makes our hearts ache and stomach relish!

So DIDI MADLOBA to all our old friends that made the trip, and to new friends.
To everyone from Stamba Cafe, from Rooms Hotel, from Warehouse and the whole group, who made us feel at home once again.

Last but not least, to the fierce winemakers who shared their wine with us from Georgia and from
Spain among whom Dido , Niloufar .wine, Lucy , Estrella , Esmeralda Cati Ribot , , , .wine, Navenakhevi, , , uchaswine,

GUT OGGAU x BAR BRUTAL
July 24th Barcelona meets Burgenland!

For one night Bar Brutal lands at Gut Oggau am Neusiedler See.
In Gut Oggau’s courtyard, surrounded by vines, we’ll set up one - loooong - communal - table, presenting
to the public BRUT OGGAU: our take on the classical Austrian Heuriguer.

A Heuriger is where winegrowers open their doors,
just a few months a year, to pour their wine, share simple food, and let the Gemütlichkeit do the rest.

For our night, we put together one dinner à quatre mains, with Austrian summer ingredients, herbs, shared plates and punchy flavours, met by the
seafood and delicacies Bar Brutal brings from Bcn.

Gut Oggau wines will be available by the glass and a special bottle list has been curated for the evening: vintages, rarities and pours that rarely leave Oggau.
