Sichuan province is well-known for very spicy dishes, and this one is no different!
Historians place the invention of spicy tofu, also known as Ma Po tofu, in the Qing Dynasty in 1862. Since its inception, this dish from Chengdu city has gained international fame.
Ask us if you would like it less spicy or not spicy at all (that would be a normal braised tofu, super tasty too!), we understand some people don't like their mouth on fire :D
