Located next door in the same building as Hosteria Grau, this unique, trendy café bar opened its doors in 1941, just after the Spanish Civil War. Grau used to make a homemade vermouth with secret ingredients, and this drink was very popular in the neighborhood. Most recently, Centric has been featured in television commercials, a music video "Presuntos Implicados", short films, and a Spanish movie

, "Tengo Ganas de Ti". Currently, it has reopened this Febrary 2013. We say we have "cleaned the face" but without changing the atmosphere, the deep bones of the interior. The Spanish decorator, Pilar Libano, has bring her well-known style into our retro, chic bar… with the old charm untouched. Also, we are happy to announce the Grau family has grown, and Centric Bar is now partnered with Cafe San Telmo Group. Wouldn't it be nice to celebrate this reopening by bringing back the tradition of Grau's homemade vermouth? We leave this up in the air…
