A beautiful intimate evening tonight at Valle del Este Golf Resort, Vera. ✨

Sometimes it’s not about catering for a large party — tonight was all about creating something special for just two guests.

A relaxed private dining experience on their terrace, beginning with a beautifully presented starter before moving on to the centrepiece of the evening — my Gourmet Paella Experience, freshly prepared and cooked for them at their accommodation. 🥘

And to make the evening that little bit more memorable, dinner was accompanied by the wonderful sound of a live Spanish guitarist as the sun went down over the golf course. 🎸🇪🇸

Good food, candlelight, Spanish music and a stunning setting — exactly what private villa dining should be.

🇩🇪 ❤️ WHEN YOUR GUESTS SAY IT BETTER THAN YOU EVER COULD…

There’s nothing more rewarding than finishing an event knowing that the food, service and those little extra touches have helped make someone’s special occasion genuinely memorable.

Earlier this week I had the pleasure of cooking for Christine and her family — 13 wonderful German guests celebrating her birthday at Paradise Villa in Fortuna.

From the table setting and relaxed villa atmosphere to the food itself, it was a lovely evening to be part of. And then Christine left me this wonderful message afterwards… ❤️

Last night at Paradise Villa, Fortuna 🇪🇸✨

What a fantastic evening celebrating Christine’s birthday with her family — 13 wonderful guests from Germany gathered around the table for a very special occasion. ❤️

It was a real pleasure to be back at Paradise Villa to prepare, cook and serve their celebration dinner.

We started with baked figs stuffed with goat’s cheese and wrapped in Serrano ham, followed by not one but two paellas — a colourful vegetable paella alongside my mixed meat & seafood paella. 🥘

And to finish, almond, polenta & lemon cake, served with fresh berries and cream. 🍋🍓

Beautiful food, plenty of laughter and a table full of family — exactly what villa dining should be about.

Well… reviews like this absolutely make my day! ❤️

Yesterday’s grazing board was delivered ready for my clients to simply open, enjoy and graze from at their leisure — and judging by this message, I may have just created a new tradition for their future guests! 😂

“Simon this is absolutely delicious! We have grazing for the next three days!! Loads more than I thought! Beautifully presented. I would have had to go to 3 or 4 shops to do this and then had too much of the wrong things so wasteful! Love it! Next guests incoming have seen it and expect the same 🤣”

And that really is the idea behind my grazing boards — beautiful food, plenty of choice, generous portions and none of the shopping, preparation or waste.

Cheeses, charcuterie, antipasti, breads, fruits, homemade touches and plenty of little surprises, all beautifully presented and delivered ready to enjoy.

Apparently the next guests have already put their order in… 😂

This beautiful grazing board was prepared fresh this morning and personally delivered to my client en route towards Mojácar.

I always say it’s the little touches that make the difference — and sometimes that means going beyond simply preparing the food and making sure everything arrives exactly where it needs to be, ready to enjoy.

Packed with a selection of cheeses, cured meats, fresh fruit, olives, nuts, antipasti, homemade breads and all the little extras that turn a grazing board into something special.
