Hapy Habou Habu Garden is a Restaurant near Medinet Habu Temple in Luxor, serving mainly Egyptian food and Pizza. Adjacent to the Medinet Habu temple car park.

We are on the street towards the small Temple of Thoth (Kasr el-Aguz) Restaurant, cafe and bar serving meals, snacks, drinks and sh**ha all day.

Hapy Habou remains closed this winter, with Desert Rose next door acquiring my custom.

l planned to visit Hapy Habou today but it was closed. I hope that this was just a one-off.

So instead I spent the afternoon at Ramsis, just outside Medinet Habu temple.

It was very quiet except for a medium sized coach of about 20 Germans and a full 40-seater of Russians. Well, I thought that the flag their leader was waving was a Russian one, but on checking it looks like Chile.

Anyway, nearly every seat taken for lunch so they had a good day.

And Cola zero at EGP20 for a 250ml can. That is about twice what I was paying last year, when the cans were 353ml. Rip-off, but good luck to them.
