We are very proud of our band (Recyka) from Sohage city in upper Egypt.
Recyka band was founded recently in Sohag, As the second phase of our main project (Garbage Music Project).
This Video was on one of the most popular TV shows in Egypt (El-Doom).
We would like to thank the beautiful and powerful participants, The great music trainer Andrew Foukeh.
The musical instruments maker Mohamed Bakry.
Our great supervisor Sahar Khalifa.

We are proud to announce Rabab Luxor’s Garbage Music Project as the Youth Leadership Prize winner of the : Water Pollution & Behavior Change contest!

Egypt is among the largest exporters of plastic waste globally. With this in mind, Rabab Luxor established the Garbage Music Project, which aims to empower youth from marginalized communities to use art and music to counter plastic pollution. By transforming plastic waste into musical instruments, kids between the ages of 12 and 16 learn how to build these instruments and then master the use of them.

Solution Search: Water Pollution & Behavior Change is supported by Rare’s Center for Behavior & the Environment, 11th Hour Racing's grant program, funded by the Schmidt Family Foundation, The Circulate Initiative, the Inter-American Development Bank, Lonely Whale, The Nature Conservancy, and Ocean Conservancy.

The Youth Leadership prize is included as one of four prizes will award. The $10,000 Environmental Justice Prize was recently awarded to Sustainable Organic Integrated Livelihoods (SOIL). The two $25,000 grand prizes - The People’s Choice and The Judges’ Choice awards - will be announced at , taking place September 21-23. https://bit.ly/3iqU2aL

زيباليكا هى Mini-Online workshops لتصنيع ألات موسيقية من المخلفات المنزلية. الورش دى مش هتكون ورش بمفهومها التقليدى، دى هتكون كأنك خرجت خروجة حلوة عشان تتعرف على ناس بتحب تلعب وفى نفس الوقت هتجرب حاجة جديدة أول مرة تجربها.

الورش بتختلف فى مواعيدها و عدد sessions بتاعتها على حسب مستوى صعوبة الألة بس فى كل الأحوال هتلاقى الألة و الميعاد اللى يناسبك.مش بس كده أنت ممكن لو حابب تشترك مع صحابك
و لو عددكم أكتر5 ممكن نعملكم group لوحدكم بالألة اللى تحبوها بخصم 30%.
