Live like a local at Eish Balady - عَيّش بلدي
You won’t find an Egyptian who has not suddenly stopped for Egyptian street food not because of hunger but just because it is just so irresistible. We wanted to bring that experience to El Gouna; Eish Balady عَيّش بلدي (pronounced: eïsh balady) is Arabic for ‘live local’ and will bring that nostalgic feeling back to every Egyptian and will make every non-Egyptian feel they have actually ‘lived like a local’. Eish Balady is a fast casual Egyptian eatery focused on fresh, locally grown and authentic street food. Fresh whole wheat local bread (pronounced e’sh balady – yes, we know it’s confusing) is baked in our specially designed stone oven all through the day. Our variety of authentic sandwiches is served entirely in our freshly baked Balady bread. The menu also includes a variety of tasty vegetarian Egyptian dishes and sandwiches. Enjoy El Gouna’s winter sun at our outdoor sitting area in the Piazza of the new Marina. We are open for early breakfast and even for those very late night cravings during the weekends.
