We will be closed today (Thursday) to allow our staff to spend the first day of Ramadan with their families, but we are back on Friday and have many surprises for you this Ramadan at The Vegan Kitchen! Every week we will be bringing you a new and innovative 3 course set menu for Iftar as well as an oriental Mezzah selection for Sohour, both with unlimited oriental drink refills!
The Iftar menu for the first week is:
Starter Platter: Our very own vegan Labneh served with our gluten free bread, and a mini Quinoa Tabbouleh.
Main Course: Gluten free spaghetti served with our vegan Bolognese sauce, stuffed vine leaves, and vegan Mahshi (artichoke, eggplant and potatoes) stuffed with our vegan minced "meat" (or as we like to call it, the "notmeat")!
Dessert: Your choice between our raw vegan coconut-chocolate brownie, and our raw vegan carrot cake.
Drinks: Karoub, Hibiscus and Doum.
Price for Iftar: 150 LE per person.
The Sohour menu for the first week is:
Alexandrian foul (fava beans with mixed vegetables and spices), vegan cheese with tomatoes, and green hummus, served with our gluten free bread and unlimited oriental drink refills.
Price for Sohour: 100 LE per person.
