Today is a special day at Citrus Creek Plantation . Each time a new crop is planted is a special day. Today was the start day planting rum . Well , .... ok, .... sugar cane !
A huge thanks to Rosalie Bay Distillery , and mainly to Jake, to Juni, and to Darwin. We are very happy and proud of partnering with you in this new venture.
Having one day our own Citrus Creek Plantation organic rum, grown on our land, and distilled at this wonderful modern distillery you have built, just a few miles away from us, on the wild southeast coast of Dominica, is a blast. We are patient by nature, but can’t wait.
Thanks to all those at Citrus creek, who got involved and made the efforts to make it happen. We are grateful DJ, Darwin, Karen, Kelson,John, Abi, Kayla.... ; and of course Patrice Arti’cook , Iyola, Anne and Lamor ! sincere thanks. This had to be a team work, and team work it has been. Now is the hard part. Let’s make sure we pamper these plants, we give them love, so when distilled our rum will be a great one. Sure our guests will love it.

Citrus Creek is an amazing place to stay — filled with thoughtful design elements, little surprises, and endless spots to relax. It’s such a beautiful corner of the earth to slow down, enjoy nature, and soak in the peaceful surroundings.

The river pool was fantastic, the staff wonderful, and the fresh daily bread was such a treat! You absolutely must have a meal here — unreal. The fresh, healthy food and the atmosphere make it such a special experience.

During this part of our stay, we visited Victoria Falls, Kalinago Barana Autê, Emerald Pool, Salton Falls, and drove north to Pointe Baptiste Chocolate Factory. So many incredible adventures nearby, but Citrus Creek itself is a highlight.

A truly special place to unwind and enjoy Dominica!
