Did you know that Bartoccio is a symbol of the carnival in Perugia? 🎭🎉 Known for his satires and social condemnation, he even takes the name "bartocciate" to honor the biting inspiration! 😄

Arlecchina/Colombina the famous mask from Venice...

Colombina personifies the comic type of the pretty maid. She is seductive, astute, very vivacious and is the perfectly female mirror image of Harlequin. For this reason she is always the Amorosa or the wife of Arlecchino, assuming the name of Arlecchina. In the representations she is often the object of attention from the master Pantalone, which causes jealousy in Arlecchino.
Arlecchina is very vain and a little flirtatious and she is keen to always look neat and attractive. She doesn't mince words and she manages to put right some suitor who doesn't behave more than politely. Even her eternal boyfriend, Arlecchino, has to be very careful if he tries to get corny with some of her other colleagues, because she knows how to keep him straight.
Her way of doing, so lively and mischievous, hides a strong-willed character and a natural shrewdness that make Colombina a pleasantly cheeky character, much loved by the public.
Arlecchina, naturally a liar, always uses lies for a good purpose to cover up the loves of her mistress, continually hindered by a gruff and severe father. Moretti beer, the best-known beer in Italy, according to the survey by the American online magazine VinePair, a study of the most popular beers in over 100 countries, has always been a product of Italian excellence. The historic company, once a niche brand of Friuli, a region in northeastern Italy, is today a company that guarantees a product in over 40 countries.
Friuli gave it its roots, heart and substance. ESPRESSO...

Hver italiener går ind i en bar og bestiller en kaffe, klar over, at baristaen vil fortolke anmodningen som en espresso.
Faktisk er udtrykket kaffe bestilt og indtaget i baren for italienere altid synonymt med espresso. Tværtimod laves kaffe i italienske hjem for det meste med en moka eller en napolitansk kaffemaskine. Espressoen repræsenterer derimod livet væk fra hjemmet, baren, hygge og mødet med venner og bekendte.

Meneghino fra Milano...

Meneghino (på dialekten Milano Meneghin) er den typiske maske for byen Milano. Han har en udadvendt og munter karakter, og ligesom milaneseren er han meget generøs, forhastet og ved aldrig, hvordan han skal sidde ledig.
Dens navn stammer sandsynligvis fra navnet på de tjenere, der blev brugt om søndagen, kaldet Domenighini, dem, der betales af dagen for at ledsage adelskvinder til messen eller for at holde dem med selskab under en karettur.
Det opstod i skuespil skrevet i 1600-tallet.
Meneghino elsker et roligt liv, er klog og har en stærk moralsk sans.
Under det østrigske herredømme blev det et symbol på det milanesiske folk for dets stræben efter frihed. Den dag i dag kaldes indbyggerne i Milano også "Meneghini" til ære for denne maske.
I løbet af det syttende århundrede havde Meneghino også for vane at bebrejde de adelige for deres laster, og i det nittende århundrede blev denne egenskab fremhævet endnu mere ved at omdanne denne maske til en censor af aristokratiet og gejstligheden.
Han er klædt i en lang brun jakke, korte bukser og rød-hvidstribede strømper, en tricorn-formet hat over en paryk med en pigtail bundet med et bånd.
