Kalø Elevforening er dannet af tidligere elever, som ønsker at holde kontakten med skolen og hinanden. Hvad får jeg ud af at være medlem? Som medlem bliver du inviteret til at deltage i forskellige arran
gementer på skolen. Bl.a. sommerfest og temafest om efteråret – her kan du mødes med gamle venner og genopfriske minderne fra dit ophold. Køkkenet tilbereder en lækker festmiddag og et band spiller op til dans. Til dem, der ikke fester igennem, er der mulighed for at sove på skolen. Som medlem af Elevforeningen modtager du Kalø-Nyt 2 gange årligt, et blad der holder dig orienteret om skolernes udvikling og programmer for den kommende sæson – i tilfælde af, du skulle have lyst til at vende tilbage. I Kalø-Nyt kan du også læse beretninger fra tidligere elever om, hvordan det er gået dem efter skoleopholdet. Du er også velkommen til selv at bidrage med et indlæg. Vil du have indflydelse? Hvis du kunne tænke dig at deltage aktivt i planlægningen og afviklingen af foreningens aktiviteter, skal du sørge for at blive valgt til årgangsrepræsentant for dit hold. Som årgangsrepræsentant sidder du i foreningens bestyrelse i en 1-årig periode. Du kan også lade dig opstille til bestyrelsen direkte på generalforsamlingen, på lige fod med andre. Hvordan bliver jeg medlem af Elevforeningen? Når du har forladt skolerne modtager du Kalø-Nyt og et girokort på 125 kr. Do you think your time at Kalø was a great time? Would you like to meet some of your old friends and party with them until the break of dawn? Then join the Kalø student association and get invited to two parties a year, where you can meet old friends and teachers. What is the Kalø Student Association? The student association is formed by former students, who wish to keep in touch with each other and the school. What do I get by being a member? As a member, you will be invited to join events at the school. Among others, the summer party and the autumn party, where you can meet old friends and refresh your memories from your stay at Kalø. The kitchen will prepare a delicious feast and a band will play some great music to dance to. For those who don’t want to party the whole night through, there is the possibility of sleeping at the school. As a member of the Kalø Student Association, you will receive our newsletter Kalø-Nyt twice a year and a newsletter that keeps you updated on what the school comes up with for the new season – just in case you feel like returning. In Kalø-Nyt can you also read stories by former students to keep you updated on what they’re up to. You are more than welcome to write a story to the newsletter yourself. Do you want influence? If you want to participate actively in the planning and execution of the Student Association’s activities, you have to get chosen as the class representative of your year. As the class representative, you become a part of the Kalø Student Association board for one year. If you like it and want to make an even bigger difference, you can run to be a board member at the general meeting, just like everyone else. How do I become a member of the Kalø Student Association? When you leave the school, you will receive a Kalø-Nyt and a bill of 125 kr. When you have paid the giro form, you are a member and will be invited to Kalø student association events.
