Every two months, residents at Living By ALFA come together for our Community Breakfast, a chance to meet new neighbours, catch up with familiar faces and enjoy a relaxed morning together.

Together with the Community Manager, residents help prepare the breakfast before sitting down to enjoy it together in the lounge. A warm and homely setting for our community to connect.

At Living By ALFA, we have envisioned a home that embraces every rhythm of life: the energy and joy of families with children, as well as the equally important need to slow down, breathe, and enjoy a moment of peace.
That is why we created our top-floor Orangery: a beautifully designed, light-filled space featuring smart technology that automatically adjusts the roof opening according to the temperature. Reserved exclusively for our adult residents, it is a place to enjoy a peaceful lunch, host a barbecue, read a book, or simply take a moment for yourself. Because we believe that true well being comes from finding the right balance between togetherness and tranquility.
And if, for a moment, you happen to miss the joyful chaos of little ones, all you have to do is step onto the balcony outside the Orangery and look down at the playground below for a small reminder of the vibrant life unfolding in our garden.

A new spot from the beloved Flere Fugle has just opened in Vanløse, bringing their delicious baked goods and warm atmosphere to the Grøndalskvarteret neighbourhood.
If you already love their locations at Demokrati Garage or Gammel Strand, it’s worth the trip to enjoy freshly baked bread and pastries, delicious sandwiches, excellent coffee, and a carefully curated selection of products.
What makes Vanløse Fugle truly special is its warm, relaxed, and down-to-earth atmosphere. It’s designed as a local gathering place where good ingredients, craftsmanship, and a sense of community come together.

On the top floor of our Kaffevej 5–9 (55+ Building), you’ll find a rooftop barbecue area designed for relaxed summer gatherings.
It’s a space made for grilling together with the community: simple, informal, and centered around togetherness.
Right next to it, an outdoor kitchen extends the experience, giving residents the chance to prepare dishes on site and serve them at the long communal table outside or in our Orangery.
Here, cooking isn’t just practical. It’s social. It’s about turning a meal into an occasion, and neighbours into a community.
