Copenhagen, we did it again. 🏆
Kūkai Ramen has been nominated for Byens Bedste 2026 by
Berlingske. Second nomination this year, and we’re still
not used to saying that out loud.
We opened as a ten-seat, walk-in-only shop with basically
no plan beyond getting the broth right. No bookings, no
frills, just ramen. That was the whole idea.
Somewhere along the way, the line started reaching the
sidewalk. Every single night turned into something we couldn’t
have predicted. And honestly, we’re just getting started.
there are a lot more people we want to reach, a lot more bowls we want to serve.
None of that happens without the people who kept showing
up, kept telling their friends, kept treating this place
like it was theirs too. It is.
